Today we have been tended to complicate our lives too much and it has no differences with nutrition also. Why is it so difficult to understand, what is a healthy nutrition? Why are we the only kind of animals who are racking our brains with proper nutrition? Wolf doesn’t have a problem to figure out what is for him a proper nutrition. Birds also. Why are we so special, that in the thousands of books is written about proper nutrition, but despite of that, humanity is still sicker and more obese.
Media afraid us with deficiencies of vitamins and minerals, while simultaneously bombard us with advertisements for what could be hardly called food. In principle, the rule is that the real food is generally not advertised! So, the ‘food producers’ simply compete, to convince us that it is not so, constantly inventing a new systems of labeling like ‘healthy food’, ‘no sugar’, with ‘0% fat’, ‘enriched with fiber’, ‘enriched with vitamins’.
When you read something of that, be assured that it is not the real food, because something is taken away or added to it. The real food doesn’t have any bombastic labels; in fact it is not even packed usually. So, if you eat enough of that food, it will satisfy all your needs, without adding or subtracting anything. Healthy food is the same as simple food, that everyone knows how to prepare. You don’t need any special counseling, blood analysis or apparatus.
Here is, for example: steamed or bake a pound of potatoes without oil, spice it with a little sea salt and a spoon of butter.
It is important to know, what is the real food. It includes: fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and eggs. It also can included cereals, legumes and dairy products. Although these groceries have some disadvantages, such as phytates in grains and legumes or lactose in milk, many authorities in terms of nutrition have shown that by certain procedures these groceries can be also healthy food. Phytate from whole grains and legumes can be removed by soaking before cooking or if we eat only natural unleavened bread. Old cheese, such as Emmental often contain a little or no lactose, affecting by useful cheese culture and it provides a good source of calcium and omega-3 fatty acids.
What in our nutrition doesn’t need to be found is before of all, industrial food such as carbonated drinks, caned food, nibbles or biscuits. Also oil from the seeds should be removed and used coconut oil for cooking and a small amount of olive oil for salads, just so we can avoid too much of omega-6 fatty acids in the nutrition. Nuts and seeds should be eaten sparingly, because if you’re in nature and if you have to collect them or peel, how would you manage to peel them in one day?
So, eat simply and you will be healthy!
The menu which is an example of a simple nutrition which satisfies all the needs at the same time:
6 ripe bananas
500 g potatoes cooked by steaming, spoon of butter, 50 g emmental
50 g almonds
200g mackerel baked in the oven (without oil) lettuce (no oil, dressed with lemon)
